1. Information We Collect

We may collect information needed to provide, personalize, secure, and improve Nourii. The information available to Nourii depends on the features you choose to use.

Account information

When you create or use a Nourii account, we may collect:

• Your email address, display name, account identifiers, and profile details you provide.
• Guest-session identifiers if you try Nourii before creating an account.
• Sign-in records from email and password, Google, or Apple sign-in.

If you use Google or Apple sign-in, authentication is also handled through that provider's systems.

Profile and personalization information

• Age-related answers, height, weight, body measurements, goals, and activity level.
• Dietary preferences, allergies, disliked foods, cooking routine, and food budget.
• Nutrition targets, onboarding responses, and settings used to personalize Nourii.

Meals, activity, and app content

• Meal logs, portions, estimated calories and macros, meal plans, and shopping lists.
• Food photos, voice descriptions or transcripts, searches, and manual entries.
• Pantry items, activity records, progress entries, and weekly budget information.
• Messages or feedback submitted to AI-assisted features and related app context.

Device and usage information

• Device type, operating system, app version, language, and general diagnostics.
• Feature interactions, crash reports, notification tokens, and attribution information.
• Advertising or tracking identifiers where the platform makes them available and the relevant permission or configuration allows their use.

2. How We Use Your Information

We may use information collected through Nourii to:

• Provide, operate, and secure your account and the Nourii service.
• Calculate nutrition targets and personalize plans, meal suggestions, and app content.
• Interpret meal photos or voice descriptions and prepare editable food estimates.
• Maintain meal logging, pantry, activity, budget, and progress features.
• Provide contextual, non-medical insights and remember preferences you choose to share.
• Send notifications you choose to receive and respond to support or privacy requests.
• Understand feature use, diagnose technical issues, and improve reliability.
• Detect misuse, investigate security incidents, and comply with legal obligations.

Nourii is intended for general nutrition and wellness support. It is not a medical service and is not a substitute for professional medical care, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency help.

3. AI Personalization and Third-Party Services

Nourii uses artificial intelligence and app rules to support selected personalized experiences. Depending on the feature you choose, Google Gemini-backed services may process a meal image, voice transcript, meal description, onboarding answers, or a summarized personalization context to return an estimate or suggestion.

We aim to send only the context reasonably necessary for the feature you request. AI output can be inaccurate, so you should review and edit food identification, portions, nutrition values, and suggestions before saving or acting on them.

Nourii currently uses or references trusted providers for authentication, cloud infrastructure, storage, AI processing, analytics, crash reporting, notifications, and attribution. These include Supabase, Google Gemini, Firebase, Airbridge, Google, and Apple. 4. Nutrition and Wellness Data

Nourii may use your meals, dietary preferences, activity, nutrition targets, pantry, budget, and progress information to support features such as meal logging, meal planning, food estimates, activity tracking, and practical nutrition insights.

Nutrition information, AI estimates, and progress patterns can be incomplete or uncertain. Nourii presents them as context and general guidance, not as a definitive assessment of your health. Check information before saving it and consult a qualified professional for medical or dietary decisions that need professional guidance.

5. Analytics and Device Data

Nourii may use technical and usage information to understand how the service performs, diagnose problems, and improve features. This can include platform, device type, operating system, app version, screens or features used, session information, analytics events, crash reports, and diagnostic or performance information.

Firebase and Airbridge may support analytics, crash reporting, cloud messaging, and attribution. Based on the current product review, Nourii does not intend to send raw meal text, food images, searches, or profile values as Firebase or Airbridge event properties. Analytics-consent behavior and release defaults still require verification before Nourii can promise that a saved opt-out always prevents analytics collection.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We may share limited information only where reasonably necessary to operate, secure, or support Nourii, including in these circumstances:

Service providers

Providers that support functions such as cloud infrastructure, authentication, storage, AI processing, analytics, crash reporting, notifications, attribution, customer support, and security may process information for the relevant service.

Authentication and platform services

If you use Google or Apple sign-in, those providers handle authentication through their own systems.

Legal, safety, and business needs

We may disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law or valid legal process; enforce agreements; protect the rights, safety, and security of Nourii, its users, or others; investigate fraud or abuse; or complete a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of business assets, subject to applicable law.

7. Data Retention

Nourii does not yet have an approved, record-by-record retention schedule. The final policy must state how long account data, app content, analytics, logs, backups, support messages, AI-related records, and uploaded images are retained.

While your account is active, Nourii may retain relevant meal, activity, preference, and progress history so it can provide the features you choose to use. You can request account deletion at any time through our support-assisted process. Identity verification may be required, and the current product does not promise a specific completion time or deletion scope until those details are approved.

8. Children's Privacy

Nourii is not intended for children under the age of 13. Current onboarding content supports users aged 13 and older, but age enforcement and regional parental-consent requirements must be finalized before launch. Nourii should not knowingly collect personal information from a child below the approved age for their location.

9. Security

Nourii uses authenticated backend services and local device storage to support the app. We aim to use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, such as secure authentication, access controls, and protected data transmission where configured.

No internet transmission or electronic storage system is completely secure. Nourii cannot guarantee absolute security, and deployment configuration, meal-image access controls, and operational safeguards require final launch review.

10. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including:

• Access: request information about personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Deletion: request deletion of your account and personal information.
• Portability: request certain information in a portable format where applicable.
• Permissions: manage camera, microphone, notifications, and other device permissions through your device settings.

You can also review and edit AI-generated food estimates before saving them. To make a privacy request, email support@nourii.ai or visit the Delete Account page. Applicable rights, appeal processes, authorized-agent handling, and regional disclosures need legal review before this policy is final.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Nourii and its services evolve. If we make material changes, we may provide notice through the Nourii app, this website, email, or another appropriate communication method. The updated policy will show a revised effective date.
