1. Acceptance of Terms

When these Terms are published as final, creating an account, downloading, accessing, or using Nourii will mean that you agree to the Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Nourii.

You may use Nourii only if you are legally permitted to enter into these terms under the law that applies to you. Nourii is not intended for children under 13. Your use may also be subject to additional terms from the platform through which you download or access the app, such as Google Play or the Apple App Store.

2. Description of Service

Nourii is a nutrition and wellness app that may help you log meals, create meal plans, keep a pantry, track a food budget, record activity, view progress, and use selected AI-assisted features.

Depending on the features available to you, Nourii may provide:

• Personalized nutrition targets and meal-planning suggestions.
• Meal logging by photo, voice description, search, or manual entry.
• Editable estimates for foods, portions, calories, macros, and meal cost.
• Pantry, shopping-list, activity, budget, and progress tools.
• General nutrition insights based on the information you choose to provide.

Features may change, be added, removed, limited, or be unavailable for some accounts, devices, regions, or product versions. Nourii does not promise a barcode scanner, a fully autonomous AI coach, or any unreleased feature.

3. User Accounts

Some Nourii features may require an account. The current app supports guest use and account access through email and password, Google, or Apple sign-in.

When creating or using an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and reasonably complete account information.
• Protect access to your device, account credentials, and authentication codes.
• Use your account only as permitted by these Terms.
• Notify support if you become aware of unauthorized access or suspected misuse.
• Not impersonate another person or use information you are not authorized to use.

Do not share your password or authentication code with Nourii support. We may need to restrict an account where reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, investigate misuse, or comply with law.

4. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

If Nourii later offers subscriptions or in-app purchases, purchases will be subject to the terms of the relevant app store or payment provider. Deleting an account may not automatically cancel a subscription purchased through a third-party platform; the final paid-plan terms must explain this process clearly.

5. AI-Generated and Personalized Content

Nourii uses artificial intelligence, app rules, and personalization systems for selected features. These may help interpret meal photos or voice descriptions, prepare editable food estimates, suggest meal-plan ideas, or provide general nutrition insights.

By using an AI-assisted feature, you acknowledge that its output may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, based on uncertain information, or unsuitable for every situation. Food identification, ingredients, portions, calories, macros, cost, and planning suggestions are not guaranteed.

You are responsible for reviewing and editing an estimate before saving it or acting on it. AI-generated and personalized content is general information, not professional judgment or a guarantee of a nutrition, wellness, or health outcome. Read more on the AI Transparency page.

6. Nutrition and Wellness Disclaimer

Nourii is provided for general nutrition and wellness purposes. It is not a medical device, unless a particular regulated feature is expressly identified as one, and it does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease. Nourii does not replace a physician, registered dietitian, pharmacist, or other qualified professional, and it does not provide emergency medical services.

Nutrition targets, food estimates, meal plans, activity information, and progress insights may be incomplete or unsuitable for you. Consult a qualified professional before making significant dietary changes, especially if you are pregnant, under medical care, have a history of disordered eating, take medication, or manage a health condition.

7. User Responsibilities and Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use Nourii to:

• Violate applicable law or another person's rights.
• Access another user's account or misrepresent your identity.
• Probe, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or bypass service security or restrictions.
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated methods to improperly access or extract service data.
• Upload malware, abusive material, or content you do not have permission to use.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit Nourii without written permission.
• Present Nourii's estimates as medical diagnosis or guaranteed nutrition facts.

You remain responsible for how you choose to use general wellness information and any decisions you make based on content provided through Nourii.

8. Intellectual Property

Nourii's software, design, interfaces, visual elements, branding, logos, text, technology, and other proprietary materials are intended to be protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Nothing in these draft terms transfers ownership of Nourii intellectual property to you.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to submit photos, voice descriptions, text, feedback, and other content to Nourii. The responsible legal entity and the limited permission it needs to host, process, and transmit user content must be approved before these terms are final.

9. Third-Party Services

Nourii may rely on third-party services for cloud infrastructure, authentication, storage, artificial-intelligence processing, analytics, crash reporting, notifications, attribution, and platform services. Current project integrations or references include Supabase, Google Gemini, Firebase, Airbridge, Google, and Apple.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

A final version of these Terms may describe Nourii as provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. The final wording must be approved for the responsible legal entity and launch regions.

This draft does not promise that Nourii will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, complete, or accurate; that all issues will be corrected immediately; or that AI-generated or personalized content will always be appropriate. Nothing in the final Terms may exclude rights or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Limitation of Liability

Liability limits, exclusions, indemnity, and related remedies depend on the responsible legal entity and the law that applies in each launch territory. They have not yet been approved and are intentionally not invented in this draft.

The final Terms must clearly explain any permitted limits relating to use of or inability to use Nourii, reliance on AI-generated content, loss of data, service interruption, or decisions made using general nutrition and wellness information. Nothing in the final Terms may limit liability where limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

12. Account Termination

You may stop using Nourii at any time. Nourii may need to suspend, restrict, or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate misuse, comply with law, or maintain the security and operation of the service. The final Terms must define the applicable notice, appeal, and termination rules.

The current account-deletion path is a support-assisted email request, not an automatic in-app deletion control. Identity verification is required, and deletion timing and scope remain subject to launch approval. See Delete Account for the current request process.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

Governing law, courts or arbitration, class-action language, informal dispute resolution, and consumer cancellation rights have not yet been approved because the contracting entity and launch jurisdictions are not final. Qualified counsel must provide and review these terms before launch.

The final Terms should also explain how they interact with mandatory consumer protections that cannot be waived where you live.

14. Changes to These Terms

Nourii may update these Terms as the service or applicable requirements evolve. If we make material changes, we may provide notice through the Nourii app, this website, email, or another appropriate method. The final Terms will display an updated effective date.

Continued use after final revised Terms take effect may constitute acceptance, subject to applicable law. If you do not agree to updated Terms, you should stop using Nourii.
